Luxury Skin Lightening & Pigmentation Correction
What is Luxury Skin Lightening?
Our Luxury Skin Lightening service is an advanced, hydroquinone-free pigmentation correction treatment designed to improve the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. We use a specialized professional Korean skincare system that focuses on pigmentation concerns while prioritizing skin health.
What areas can be treated?
Treatment areas include the external Brazilian/intimate area, inner and outer thighs, underarms, and external anal area. All areas are assessed individually to determine treatment suitability.
Is this skin bleaching?
No. Our goal is not to change your natural skin color. Our treatments focus on improving the appearance of unwanted discoloration and promoting a more even-looking skin tone.
What causes intimate-area hyperpigmentation?
Discoloration can develop from shaving, waxing-related irritation, ingrown hairs, friction, hormonal changes, inflammation, and other skin conditions. Understanding the underlying cause is an important part of creating an effective treatment plan.
How many sessions will I need?
Mild pigmentation concerns may require approximately 1–3 sessions, while more stubborn discoloration may require 3–6 sessions. Results vary depending on your skin, the cause of pigmentation, and your response to treatment.
How far apart are treatments?
Sessions are generally scheduled approximately five weeks apart, depending on your skin’s recovery and individualized treatment plan.
Can I wax before or after my skin lightening treatment?
Please wait at least five days after waxing before receiving your pigmentation correction treatment. Following skin lightening, waxing should be avoided for at least four weeks and until the skin has fully recovered.
Is there downtime?
Temporary dryness, sensitivity, or flaking may occur. Following your aftercare instructions is essential for supporting proper recovery. Avoid picking, friction, harsh exfoliation, and irritating products while your skin heals.
Who is not a candidate?
This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, within four months postpartum or after stopping breastfeeding, or on areas with active infections, open wounds, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, or significant irritation. Certain allergies, medications, and recent cosmetic treatments may also prevent treatment. A consultation is required to determine eligibility.
Are results permanent?
Results are not necessarily permanent. Pigmentation may return if underlying causes such as friction, irritation, or hormonal changes continue. Maintenance treatments may be recommended every 6–12 months.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know Before Your Appointment
At FEMMÉ LAB Advanced Esthetics, we believe that education is just as important as the treatment itself. Whether you’re booking your first Brazilian wax, beginning your pigmentation correction journey, or treating yourself to a vajacial, we’re here to help you feel informed, comfortable, and confident.
Brazilian Waxing
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but discomfort is usually brief. At FEMMÉ LAB, we specialize in hybrid Brazilian waxing, combining premium soft and hard wax to provide efficient, precise hair removal while prioritizing your comfort.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
For the best results, hair should be approximately ¼ inch long, about the length of a grain of rice. We recommend allowing approximately 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving.
How often should I get a Brazilian wax?
We recommend maintenance appointments every 4–6 weeks. Consistent waxing can help you maintain smoother skin and may make future appointments more comfortable.
Can I get waxed during my period?
Yes! As long as you’re comfortable wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup, you can still receive your Brazilian wax. Keep in mind that your skin may be more sensitive during this time.
What should I avoid after a Brazilian wax?
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid excessive sweating, hot tubs, saunas, tight clothing, friction, and heavily fragranced products. Wait at least 48 hours before exfoliating, or until any sensitivity has resolved. Once your skin has settled, exfoliate gently 2–3 times weekly and moisturize daily.
Can I get waxed if I’m pregnant?
Brazilian waxing is generally possible during pregnancy, although skin may be more sensitive. Please inform your esthetician before your appointment.

Vajacials & Intimate Skin Care
What is a vajacial?
A vajacial is a specialized skincare treatment designed for the external bikini and pubic area. Similar to a facial, it focuses on cleansing, gentle exfoliation, hydration, and addressing common concerns such as ingrown hairs and uneven skin texture.
What are the benefits of a vajacial?
Vajacials can help improve the appearance of skin texture, reduce dead skin buildup, soothe dryness, and support healthier-looking skin. Treatments are customized according to your individual skin concerns.
Does a vajacial include a Brazilian wax?
No. Brazilian waxing and vajacials are separate services unless specifically booked together as a package.
Can a vajacial help with ingrown hairs?
Yes! Vajacials can help address dead skin buildup and some ingrown-hair concerns. However, severely inflamed, infected, or painful ingrown hairs may require medical evaluation.
How often should I get a vajacial?
Many clients choose to schedule vajacials every 4–6 weeks, depending on their skin concerns and waxing routine.
Can I get a vajacial immediately after waxing?
Certain gentle, calming treatments may be appropriate after waxing, but stronger exfoliation and extractions should be postponed until the skin has recovered. Your esthetician will recommend the appropriate timing.
